Reading Toy Run 2018 (World Record Holders) I went to the annual Toy Run organised by the Christian Motorcycle Club in Reading, Berkshire UK. A few years ago the toy run was officially recorded and entered into the Guinness World Records for the largest Toy Run. It was another fantastic turn out with lots of motorcycles decorated in tinsel and Christmas lights as well as many riders dressed as Santa Claus, Father Christmas or Kris Kringle, Saint Nicholas…or any other name you wish to choose.
Toy Runs are always a charitable affair with the good bikers coming from far and wide to deliver presents to children in hospitals, orphanages or other such charitable causes. Present were packed in rucksacks or bike motorcycle top boxes and panniers and delivered to Barnardos for the children in need and was gratefully received also by the volunteers there. The organisers also do another show called Dr B’s and this Toy run ran from Reading to nearby Wokingahm where it terminated at the school where the collection was being made for Barnardos.
