Hammer blows as Laszlo plays on Akashic Field Published 06/04/18 on Irons United

Many within the claret and blue universe have recognised that West Ham have been playing as incompetent individuals for most of the last two seasons, hence the current league position and the dire performances and results. Not withstanding last Saturday’s glorious display against a hapless Southampton, many would seek answers to these universal dilemmas and problems, with some turning to the gods with a sense of utter and complete frustration.

“We, and all things in the universe, are non-locally connected with each other and with all other things in ways that are unfettered by the hitherto known limitations of space and time.” – Ervin Laszlo

The squad of talent have failed, under two successive managers to form a cohesive unit, to think as one, to find common consciousness…in short to become a hive mind and have applied coordination. Of course there have been glimpses of almost attaining such a state, but these have been too few over almost two seasons at the London Stadium…So what has been the problem and what is the long term solution?

In Ervin Laszlo’s Akashic Field Theory, he surmises that the space within the universe is actually the energy that drives it to evolve and which would provide solutions to past, present and future questions. It is this ‘Quantum Vacuum’ state which is the key to understanding, for it holds all the information and is indeed the consciousness of the universe which all things are part of.

Within the squad of multiple personalities and layers, there is commonality of spirit and purpose as well as talents, however each one has operated at varying levels throughout the season. This disconnect and discord has created a rift in the ‘space-time continuum’ in which players are acting in a manner in which they would not normally do so.

The question which deserves an answer…Why are they operating at different levels? Well, there are indeed many reasons for this. A new environment was a shock to the senses and the individuals and the collective did not adjust quickly enough. The atmosphere and feeling around the club and stadium soon become a distracting influence. The training regimes and facilities changed, many injuries to key players upset the consistency within the group. All of which led to a lack of direction, purpose and understanding amongst the players and the managers.

This is what has been happening to the West Ham quantum vacuum for nearly two years, however with time, the universe will surely provide the answers to these troubling times. Laszlo’s

theory would suggest that the West Ham universe can heal itself and will fine tune over time. But what does this mean in the real world of football and how can fans assimilate this information?

Well, this is not fanciful flower-power pseudo nonsense…there is method in the madness if one only scratches beneath the surface. The answers would tend to come from within the group, however over the last two seasons of massive change for both club, players and fans…there have also been too many changes within the squad that have failed to add quality or even improve the unit as a whole…in fact the additions have been to its detriment.

The players are but one layer in this multiverse that is a football club. Manager, coaches, medical staff…the whole club form part of the consciousness, however each club has its own consciousness too and each will learn off each other with every passing game…however West Ham have fallen behind and have not tapped into the hive of the wider footballing world either. Where others have improved, West Ham have suffered along with the other disconnected…hence the bottom half of the league this season is in stark contrast to the top half…too many clubs have tapped into a negative consciousness which has created a stalemate for most of the season. West Ham’s usual success and in which they have demonstrated superiority has come from matches in which they have played against vastly inferior teams…in short the Hammers played well, but they were allowed to because the opponents were so poor.

The answers to this disconnect within the club will come as the season ends, as everyone at West Ham will sit down and regroup. Analyse what have been the ongoing issues and take strides to correct the mistakes…only then will all hearts and minds commence to beat and think as one respectively. The key will be to keep a core of the squad players and to drip feed in talent from the youth system as well as to supplement the group with the purchase of quality in strategic positions. However, it will take time for this new group to come together to form solid understandings with each other as a whole…and amongst individuals too.

This may be contrary to what many fans might feel is appropriate given the perceived promises from the owners before moving into the stadium…however even with bolstered resources and the acquisition of new faces, it will take a considerable time to force fit everything together without a guarantee of success.

In the meantime, the existing squad must work on the individual relationships as well visualising what the purpose of the group as a whole is. It is within them all as both coaching staff and players to find the solutions that are already in there but which have not been tapped into for most of the season. Perhaps the Miami training camp was the best thing to nurture the squad consciousness…it enabled the group of players to train with each other  as well as spend time socially too. They certainly appeared to have focus and an obvious togetherness in the match last Saturday, which if can be built upon would tend to suggest that each future encounter would prove to be more successful too.

For too long, the fans have become disillusioned and angered with the manoeuvres from David Sullivan, David Gold and Karren Brady…however the fuel to this fire has been a poorly performing team of players who have not been in sync with each other…but time is a great healer. Although there have been Hammer blows…if the squad can learn as Laszlo plays on the Akashic field…then maybe-baby, they can all feed from the quantum vacuum, find the answers, think as one and play as a cohesive and coordinated group.
