Vicky Golden break 12yr record for History TV programme; Evel Live 2

Last night as part of the History Channel “Evel Live 2” programme that went out live from the USA, 4 times X Games Freestyle Motocross gold medallist; Vicky Golden, broke a motorcycling record that had stood for 12yrs.

She rode her motorcycle and smashed through 13 wooden walls of fire as part of the programme line up which was made in conjunction with Travis Pastrana’s Nitro Circus.

As the name suggests, the programme was a modern take on daredevil escapades first made mainstream by legendary rider and stuntman; Evel Knievel in the 1960’s and 70’s.

Last year at Ceaser’s Palace in Las Vegas, Travis Pastrana broke two of Evel Knievels records on his specially made motorcycles that were prepared in conjunction with Roland Sands, thus completing feats that even Knievel could not complete in his day.
