2021 could not end quickly enough for the Indian motorcycle manufacturer as they have been forced into another factory recall…and this time it’s the Classic 350 that’s at the centre of it all.

Only in May did the company have to recall over 230K Classic, Bullet and Meteor models for a defective ignition coil, but the latest recall item has surely put the brakes on their new year celebrations.
For Classic 350s that were built from September 1st to December 5th are affected. The rear brake reaction bracket of the single channel ABS models with rear drum brakes is the problem area. Higher load forces could lead to the bracket being damaged causing more braking noise and reduced efficiency.
An obvious safety concern, the company have reacted quickly and have a solution too. Owners can contact the company directly or their local dealerships to have remedial works carried out or the company will contact owners directly according to the VIN numbers affected.
