Norton Motorcycles, now owned by TVS of India have finally unleashed plans to open dealerships across the UK and possibly further afield too.
As reported here a few weeks ago, there had been rumours that Norton were in negotiations with established dealerships of other brands in the UK to start making space to sell the Norton 961 Commando and the V4SV and potentially the V4CR too.
The first dealership or Atelier (That is workshop or art studio perhaps in French) is open at the Bike Shed in London, where bikes, parts and accessories can be bought and ordered. Let’s not forget the mountains of t shirts that can be gobbled up whilst eating at drinking at one of the best loved biker destinations in London (perhaps)
Deals have also been done with Krazy Horse at their London dealership as well as Crawley’s P&H Motorcycles, Sheffield’s Via Moto, Bodmin’s Thor Motorcycles, and Cheshire’s Oakmere Motor Group.
So if Norton are your bag, then it appears the days of having to deal directly with the company are over and now the new destination Norton will be at a dealer workshop…oh apologies…Atelier…near you.
