Harley Davidson long awaited return to the Indian market is finally over, as their collaboration with Hero MotoCorp of India has yielded their first bike together: X440. Rather surprisingly earlier than anticipated, the X440 beats Triumph in their launch of the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X which launches in India on the 5th of July.
Nothing has been said for the early reveal, however speculation in India would consider Hero MotoCorp recent sales and returns slump along with Triumph’s impending launch with Bajaj as the main reason. To get ahead of the competition and aim for the potential buyers who may be lured away from the likes of Triumph but mostly Royal Enfield who are the main players in the retro cool bikes with similar sized engines.
