Pablo Quintanilla on the Honda came in 2nd some 4:37mins behind making it a one/two for the Japanese factory team.
6:53 behind in third was KTM debutante and MotoGP rider Danilo Petrucci with an impressive rider in his first year in the sands.
Bringing up the rear in 10th was Svitko 13:03min behind the lead but British hopeful Sam Sunderland on the Gas Gascane in steady Eddie 7th some 10:15mins behind the lead meaning he retains top dog slot overall after 4 stages.
KTM rider and former winner Walkner lies in 2nd whilst Van Beveren on the Yamaha comes in third due to slipping some time on stage 4.
All set for stage 5 tomorrow, it’s getting tight out there with all riders showing some level of consistency.
