Further to reported here last month, Suzuki motorcycles in Pakistan have continued the suspension of operations at its assembly plant there due to continuing supply shortages.
Now the company have also decided to shut down the car assembly plant in that region also for similar reasons and also reducing inventory levels to be able to sustain continued production.
Now the company have stated that the plants will not open until the 15th April and with the country in a financial crisis, this is not going to be a bumper time for the Japanese company in the coming months.
Suzuki Pakistan have report record losses in 2022 with their stock being affected too and whilst the overall company is still in the black, continued supply chain issues and ongoing decreasing local economies may things worsen for Pak Suzuki yet.
