As is customary at this time of year, there are rumours abound of manufacturers bringing out new motorcycles for the following year or early sightings of test vehicles too, perhaps a disgruntled ex employee may even spill the beans on upcoming projects too.
However it appears that Moto Guzzi may indeed be about to release a new motorcycle in the first quarter of 2022. The substance of the story is rather thin though. Rather broth than hearty soup.
There have been some sightings of test bikes being ridden around the factory and model designation names leaked out of an 850x.
Parent company Piaggio are looking to expand the Moto Guzzi brand in the US where the V7 model has been popular for years, so the rumours start to fly whether this new model is a reworked V7 or whether it is a more lightweight but more capable off road bike for the V85TT model.
Whatever the situation, we can expect some announcements in due course and perhaps even a sneak peak at the London Motorcycle Show in February? Well I hope so, as I will be attending so it will be a pip to get eyes on
