Many within the motorcycle world and especially within the Harley-Davidson world had time to reflect on the sad passing of Nancy Davidson; wife of Wiilie G Davidson this last week, and warmest condolences are sent to her surviving husband and children; Karen, Bill and Michael as they attend the service today 19th July in Brookfield WI
She was born in Milwaukee and married Willie G Davidson in 1957 and became immersed into motorcycling culture and the Harley-Davidson family from then on, being very visible at many events over the years and later being inducted into the Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame.
The old dame had a good innings and held herself high in the minds and hearts of traditional Harley-Davidson fans and amongst the numerous charitable efforts during her lifespan.
Will there ever be another such First Lady of Motorcycling? Perhaps not…and that’s how it should be!
