Man City saga continues as fans rally around club.

As the Premier League have declared Man City as most evil since finding them guilty of 114 charges yet still pontificating over the sentencing of those found guilty, it has become the fans who have come to rally behind the club.

That would appear to be no great surprise. Loyal City fans were always going to side with the owners and the club itself. But more and more fans now are also directing their dismay at the EPL themselves.

Since FFP rules were introduced, it has been perceived by many fans that the rules favoured those with the deepest pockets and greatest commercial value, e.g. Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal…the so called ‘Red Cartel’

Whilst other teams who have insanely rich owners are orevented from investing in the club to grow it further, because the exisitng commercial value limits the amount of investment in the squad. Thus giving an unfair advantage to the most established rich clubs.

Whatever the sanctions on Man City going forward, the greater indictment will be on the EPL itself and whether new rules will be introduced to make it a level playing field.
