Harley Davidson will fully reveal the brand new CVOs today with an online reveal at 4pm UK time.
The CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide will feature the brand new 121 cubic inch engine with variable valve timing which will intrigue and raise eyebrows at the same time.
The CVOs were noticeably absent from the January model launch with many wondering why the company have opted for the mid year release and why has a CVO Trike not been included also?
Over the last few weeks there have been spy photos released, registration filings and patent information to chew over but nothing substantial. Even Harley Davidson’s own teaser was little more than glimpses of what we already knew.
The company has come in for much criticism this year especially due to their even higher prices on some of their bike and the CVOs which are seen as the pinnacle will no doubt have a price to match too.
They are reportedly having upgraded suspension and braking, redesigned fairings and LED lighting all around with of course the new engine.
Many were expecting the CVO engine to be a 131cubic engine, but in typical H-D fashion, the gains are slight between rolling models years, so it is no surprise that a 121 cubic inch is all we are getting, however the VVT is something new and yet to be seen how welcomed it will be, especially for the riders who enjoy upgrading their engines where VVT might make that more cumbersome.
All to be revealed later today on the main Harley-Davidson website. Prepare to be dazzled and overwhelmed with all that the company can throw at you. Prepare to choke on your cocoa pops when they reveal the price too!
