Gas Gas leading the pack at early Dakar Stages

Who would’ve thought it but Gas Gas have shown some early form and performance from both rider and motorcycle in this 2022 running of the Dakar race being held in Saudi Arabia for the third consecutive year since it s switch from South America.

Yesterday Australian rider; Daniel Sanders led the field after the first stage 1A with the usual contenders and favoured teams in hot pursuit with little more than 3 mins separating the top ten riders.

Today after stage 1B, Daniel Sanders once again fired his Gas Gas motorcycle into top spot and leading second place Pablo Quintanilla by 3:07mins, with the top ten now separated by 25:12mins.

Fellow Gas Gas rider and former Dakar winner; Sam Sunderland finished 6th on the day some 15:56 mins behind
