London Motorcycle Congestion Charge ULEZ 2019 (Things you need to know) In this video I’m discussing the new law about riding motorcycles in London for 2019, the congestion charge and the Ultra Low Emission Zone charging for motorcycles that do not comply with Euro 3 standards. Transport for London and the London Mayor – Sadiq Khan have pushed this new policy through so that certain types and ages of motorcycles will have to pay a daily charge to ride in London.
This has been contested by many motorcycling groups such as Motorcycle Action Group and We Ride London especially for those motorcycles older than 2007. Whilst motorcycles are still exempt from the central London congestion charge, they will not be exempt from the ULEZ charge as of April 2019.
I’ll give you all the current information that you need to be able ride in London as of April 2019 and at the end of the video there is some extra information specifically for you too. This is information you really need to know otherwise if you’re riding in London next year on a biker that is not Euro 3 compliant, you will be charged or will face a penalty, which I will explain what it is too.
